Why Collect Voices?

Why collect voices? – We have so much to say one another, and so little time to listen. We revere experts and celebrities, but ignore the person sitting right across from us. We can listen to successful people talk about their breakfast, bathrooms, and boredom but when people we share physical space with do it we often discard it as unimportant- especially if we don’t identify them as friendly, or useful. We are all struggling so much, and also contain such profound wisdom obtained in obscure ways and incubated in the unique culmination of experiences that is our own mind. We are each a machine, that has run a very different, very specific, very intricate simulation – our lives – and each day only adds more data. Surely analysis of all these different simulations can benefit us, there must be so much we can learn from one another, so many laughs to share, secrets to peak in on, and frustrations to empathize with. Check out our First Post Here!

Process – Each week we will send out a series of questions to answer, situations to address, or just seeking various opinions. Submissions are completely anonymous, mostly unedited, and put on display. As the number of submissions each week grows they will be curated or split into posts among multiple days. If you want your voice to be heard, keep an eye out for our posts on social media!

A special thank you – To all of our anonymous contributors. The words are entirely theirs, and I am simply attempting to compile the voices for us all to benefit from. And thank you to readers, who take the time to listen and learn from one another.
